An occupational safety incident occurred at a steel factory on Jingzhong Road, Yongkang District, Tainan City this afternoon (11). A 35-year-old Vietnamese worker surnamed Nguyen was caught in an underground car. The police arrived and found that the injured man had no signs of life. After being rescued, the viscera were discovered and he died of course. The sequel will be investigated and clarified by the police and the labor office.
Tainan City Fire Department received a report at 1:35 pm today that a steel mill worker on Jingzhong Road in Yongkang District was caught by a car. The police immediately rushed to the rescue and found that the worker had been caught by the car underground in the factory and was no longer breathing. Heartbeat, firefighters sent disaster relief tools to save the worker. It took more than half an hour to save the worker. After the medical examination, it was confirmed that he was obviously dead.

It is pointed out that the worker is a Vietnamese man surnamed Ruan. It is suspected that the car suddenly started when he was repairing the car. Ruan was caught by the car and dragged underground at the scene. After the accident, his colleagues went back at the scene but did not find Ruan Nan trapped. After the accident, the factory contacted the labor office. The cause of the accident and whether the factory was negligent are yet to be investigated and clarified by the police and the unit of labor inspection.
