Midfielder Olympic Marseille Amin Harit suffered a terrible knee injury during a fight AS Monaco. He was threatened with absent defense Morocco from World Cup 2022.

Marseille won 3-2 at home against AS Monaco, Stade Louis II in their next match League 1, Monday (11/14/2022) early morning WIB. The visitors were trailing 1-2 until the 83rd minute.

Marseille took the lead through Alexis Sanchez’s goal before Wissam Ben Yedder and Kevin Volland turned things around. In the remaining seven minutes of action remaining, Marseille were able to score two goals from Jordan Veretout and Sead Kolasinac to win the game.

However, Marseille’s dramatic victory was to be colored by the horror incident that befell their player Amine Harit. In the 57th minute Harit tried to reach the ball.

From behind emerged AS Monaco defender Axel Disasi. Disasi can sweep the ball faster, but his shot also hits Harit’s leg.

Harit was thrown and fell. Both players then groaned in pain.

The gravity of the impact seemed to make Harit’s knees move. The Marseille players, shocked by the 25-year-old’s condition, immediately called the medical team for help.

This condition makes it very likely that Harit will miss the opportunity to play the 2022 World Cup with Morocco. Harit had previously been included in the list of 26 Atlas Lion players to go to Morocco.

Morocco is in Group G with Belgium, Canada and Croatia. On 23 November they will play their first match against Croatia.
