A refrigerator killed a 6-year-old child in the Kozloduy village of Kriva Bara. The body of little Dimka was found next to the home appliance for cooling products on Saturday afternoon, “Konkurent” reports.
A signal for the fatal incident was received by the police at 3:17 p.m., the press center of the regional directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Vratsa clarified. The emergency department in Kozloduy announced that a 6-year-old girl from Kriva Bara died with them.
Immediately after the signal was given to the address of the child, where he lives with his parents, an inspection was performed with the participation of an expert electrical engineer. The inspection revealed faults in the electrical installation in the corridor of the house and the appliances connected to it.
From the interrogations of witnesses it became clear that the deceased child, before being taken to the emergency center, was found to have fallen next to the refrigerator in the corridor.
Pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in connection with the case to clarify the cause of death of the girl.
The duty prosecutor was notified about the case.
“The tragedy is great. The girl affected by the electric shock is the eldest of Hristo and Tiliandra’s three children, their neighbors in the village’s Roma neighborhood said. The mayor of Kriva bara, Ilian Ivanov, expressed his condolences to the blackened family. According to him, the family lives in a decent house and raises their children in good conditions. His grandparents, who work abroad, help him financially.
