Last week, pictures from Bergamo went around the world that will remain in the collective memory: a long military convoy that transported 65 coffins with late Covid-19 patients to other provinces during the night on Thursday because of the fact that they were in the cemetery the city no longer found a place and the crematorium was overloaded. And shortly afterwards, dramatic exclusive recordings of a British TV station from the intensive care unit of Pope John XXIII, showing dozens of patients under plastic hoods to keep them from suffocating.
