Hardly anyone would have expected in 2016 that “Train To Busan” would experience such hype around the globe: First the press was enthusiastic at the world premiere in Cannes, and a few months later the Korean audience – until the zombie action In the end, thriller even became a worldwide phenomenon.
Director Sang-Ho Yeon’s film not only grossed almost 100 million dollars, which is more than twelve times (!) Its production costs, but also garnered a lot of laurels – and has around 94 percent positive votes Rotten Tomatoes to the genre highlights of the past few years. Thanks to positive word of mouth, the film actually became a cult film in the home theater, which probably every undead fan has seen to this day.
