A 70-year-old German citizen died last night at the Kulata border checkpoint, Struma.com reports.
At about 8 pm, Thomas D. passed through the border checkpoint, got out of his car a few meters from the checkpoint and fell breathless. Police teams and the Petrich Emergency Center were immediately called to the scene.
The medics only determined the death. No evidence of violence was found, there were no signs of violence on the body of the deceased, his death was probably caused by a heart attack.
The German had a house in Bulgaria and was returning home.
