Horrified! Police Shot After Training Children to Play Ball

The horror moment happened in Northern Ireland. A cop, who is also a trainer football children, shot.

Launch BBC, Chief Detective Inspector John Caldwell was shot by two unidentified men at the Omagh Sports Complex, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It happened right after Caldwell had coached the kids to play soccer.

Caldwell was shot while trying to put the ball into his car. After trying to run, Caldwell was shot again. A total of four times Caldwell was shot.

Caldwell himself could be rushed to the hospital. His condition is critical, but reportedly stable.

At the time of the shooting, there were many children on the scene. Eyewitnesses who saw it reportedly shocked and frightened.

Investigating police explained that the shooters were two armed men. The two fled in a car, and the vehicle was found burning outside the scene of the incident. This incident invited the sympathy of many parties.

Caldwell himself is said to be coaching Gaelic football in the city. The typical Northern Irish football doesn’t only use the feet, but also the hands like basketball.
