HEBRON, KOMPAS.TV – Israeli soldiers use stun grenades to attack Palestinians during Friday prayers.
The incident occurred Friday (13/8/2021), outside the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, West Bank Region.
Quoted from Al-Jazeera, at least one person was seen being dropped to the ground and kicked by Israeli troops.
However, it is still not clear what provoked the violence.

The director of the Ibrahimi Mosque, Sheikh Hefzy Abu Sneina revealed to Anadolu Agency, Palestinians responded to an invitation from the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to offer prayers at the mosque.
It was also a move against Israel’s plans to go ahead with construction plans that would change some of its features.
Israel’s Ministry of Defense revealed on Monday (8/8/2021) that it will start a project in the mosque’s courtyard to build a route that directly connects the parking area to the mosque and install an electric lift.
But Palestinians see the construction as a way to take over the entire site for Jewish visitors.
Today the site is divided into separate Jewish and Muslim areas.
