The city of Berket El-Saba, in Menoufia, north of Cairo, witnessed a horrific murder, where a young man beheaded a woman in the street and stabbed her several times for refusing to marry him.
The security services in Menoufia received a notification that the people on Hospital Street in Berket El Sabaa arrested a young man after he attacked a girl while she was walking in the street with her mother and stabbed her with a knife in the neck and separate parts of the body.
In the presence of the security services, a girl was found drowned in her blood, between life and death. An investigation of her identity revealed that she was called “F.SR”. She was transferred to Barakat Al-Saba Hospital, which is close to the crime site, and from there to Shebin El-Kom Teaching Hospital, but she died.
It turned out that the young man who killed her was named Hani Salem, without a job, and he was arrested and referred to the prosecution for investigation.
Ashraf El-Senhawy, the victim’s lawyer, told Sky News Arabia the full details of the crime, saying:
The victim is my client, and she had just obtained a divorce judgment from her husband, and that was last Sunday. Before the divorce, she lived with her husband, child, and daughter, ages 6 and 4, in the village of Al-Rawda, which is affiliated with Birkat Al-Saba. When I started the divorce proceedings, I moved to live in a rented apartment in the city of Barakat Al-Saba. There, the young man who committed the crime saw her and admired her, so he proposed to her, but her family asked about him and found that he was of bad behavior and without work, so they refused her engagement with him, especially since she had not obtained a divorce yet. After he learned that she had obtained a divorce, he repeated his request, but it was also rejected, so he threatened to kill her, but her family did not think that he would carry out his threat. The accused lurked in wait for the victim, and when he found her walking in the street near her house, accompanied by her mother, he attacked her and stabbed her with a knife, literally slaughtering her. The people arrested him and handed him over to the police, and the prosecution decided to detain him pending investigation with him on charges of premeditated murder. During the investigations, the accused said unconvincing words that the victim fell in love with him by marrying him and got money from him, and this is illogical because he is unemployed without a job, and she also did not obtain a divorce except for only a week.
record of crimes
It should be noted that this is the second crime of this kind in the same way in the city of Barakat al-Saba and the fifth in Egypt within a year.
