Toto Wolff stated this week that Christian Horner is an actor and hinted that the crashes of Max Verstappen met Lewis Hamilton may have been intentional. When confronted with these statements, Horner fires back hard at the CEO of Mercedes.
Wolff called Horner a protagonist, a lead on a show, and insinuated that some crashes may have happened on purpose this season. Horner reacts “disappointed” to these words. “Because I think everyone would hate it if a championship is decided by a crash,” the Red Bull team boss told Sky F1. “Our intention is to fight this championship all the way through, and we are determined to try and win it on track.”
