Since the publication in summer 2002 of the WHI study[1] and above all from the only media coverage, sometimes outrageous, of the risks of hormonal treatment for menopause (THM), rarely weighed against its benefits, the number of women treated has continued to decrease in all Western countries, especially in France . Thus, the last prevalence survey carried out in 2020 in France among 5,000 women representative of the 50 to 65-year-old population reveals that barely 5% of them are currently taking an HRT. (…)
