The Horizon Zero Dawn remaster is available today. Sony has also released a launch trailer for the game.
Owners of the original version can upgrade to Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for 10 euros. New players pay 50 euros. The remaster of the PS4 game is available for both PlayStation 5 and PC.
Horizon Zero Dawn was released on the PlayStation 4 in 2017 and was praised at the time for its impressive graphics and diverse open game world. The battles with giant robots that looked a lot like animals and dinosaurs also appealed to the imagination. Later the game was also released on PC and the game got a PS5 update that made it run in 4K and 60 frames per second. A sequel has now also been released on PS5, PS4 and PC – called Horizon Forbidden West.
Just recently already reported that the remaster also ensures that there are more NPCs in small towns. This has no effect on the story or the actions in the game, but it should give more feeling and the idea of a living world. There is also denser and more realistic vegetation in the game world.
Zero Dawn Remastered isn’t the only Horizon game releasing this fall. Lego Horizon Adventures puts the adventures of Horizon Zero Dawn into Lego form. The game will be released on November 14 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. Jari Klapwijk he recently played a preview version of the game and wrote the following: “The possible irritations regarding monotony can disappear like snow in the sun when you play with your offspring, your partner or your friends. If so, this Lego version has the potential to achieve that goal with gusto.
