Sony expects Horizon Forbidden West to be released in the second half of 2021. This is evident from a new trailer that the manufacturer has put online. Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Returnal will be released in the first half of next year.

Sony mentions the release period of the games in a short promotional video. The games had all been announced, but it was not clear when they would be released. Guerrilla Games, the Dutch studio responsible for Horizon Forbidden West, had already indicated that the game would be released in 2021. Sony now clarifies that this will be in the second half of that year. The game is also released for the PlayStation 4.

Sony has not yet revealed much about Gran Turismo 7. The game was shown for the first time in June this year. The trailer showed that the game uses ray tracing and the game is only known for PlayStation 5. According to the new information, this will happen in the first half of 2021.

Developer Insomniac Games has previously indicated that Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart will be released in ‘the same period as PlayStation 5’. This appears to be a broad concept, now that Sony confirms that the game will not be released this year. The game may be released in early 2021, although Sony does not clarify that.

Also Returnal will be released in the first half of next year. That’s a sci-fi shooter made by Sony studio Housemarque. The video also features Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Deamon Souls, which will release simultaneously with PlayStation 5 on November 19.
