On March 21, Horizon Forbidden West will finally make its way to PC. With just two weeks to go until launch, Guerrilla Games and Nixxies – the studio responsible for the porting job – have revealed what the adventure will require of your machine.
The developers have thrown together four different setups, depending on what kind of performance and appearance players are looking for. Here it ranges from 720p resolution and 30 frames per second, all the way up to 4K and 60.
To meet the minimum requirement, players must have an AMD Ryzen 3 1300X processor, 16GB of RAM and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 4GB graphics card or equivalent. If you want to go all the way to the best and fastest, Horizon Forbidden West requires you to have an Intel Core i7-11700 processor, 16GB RAM and AMD Radeon RX 7900XT or equivalent.
The game also requires that you install on an SSD with at least 150GB of free storage space. You can view all configurations in the image below.
