A post post-apocalyptic world with lore that deserves thumbs up, Guerrilla Games’ decision to leave Killzone and give birth to Horizon Zero Dawn in the Playstation 4 era several years ago has indeed paid off. There is no need to wait for time until it has now become one of Playstation’s mainstay titles, even when the latest generation – Playstation 5 launches though. Comes with a wider world and deadlier threats, Horizon Forbidden West looks dazzling. So like the previous series, it is ready to expand its story through an expansion pack.
With the release date getting closer, Horizon Forbidden West has finally released a new trailer that shows off more about the content offered by the expansion pack – Burning Shores later. This new adventure takes Aloy to the Los Angeles area which is also filled with various landmarks which have now been “eaten up” by nature. You can see the new threats he is fighting, a glimpse of the story about the new tribe that seems to be involved in the existing story, to the action of the new vehicle – the Waterwing which is not only victorious in the air, but is also equipped with the ability to dive underwater. Aloy also looks to have a new ability here.
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores itself is planned to be released on April 19, 2023. Unlike the basic version which is also available for Playstation 4, this expansion is only available for Playstation 5. How about you? Interested in trying it?
