The second part of the Horizon series is a bit closer again: this afternoon, Sony officially launched pre-orders for the game, while also announcing several special editions, both digital and physical. The Czech representation of the company has officially confirmed that local players can look forward to text localization, ie subtitles in the game and, of course, completely translated menus.
There are a pair of digital editions, normal and deluxe, with all sorts of bonuses. The difference in price between the digital PS4 and PS5 versions of the game (1849 and 2119 CZK) is again noticeable. Also, the process of upgrading a version of the game from PS4 to PS5 is not entirely simple: a stand-alone upgrade (like $ 10 as recently as Ghost of Tsushima) will probably not be available: the official report states that if you want to play on both platforms, you need a better version deluxe or physical collectible), because the standard or special version of the game does not include this option. In any case, the possibility to move the saved PS4 position to the PS5 version of the game is confirmed.
The physical editions even have four variants, from the basic one through the special one (steelbook and artbook) to the collector’s and even richer “regalla” edition, which contain, in addition to the large figurine of the armored “Tremortuska”, a number of other digital and physical objects. Pre-orders of special physical editions in the Czech Republic will probably be launched a little later, but according to official information, all editions should arrive in Europe in some numbers and therefore also to us.
The game is released on February 18, 2022 with Czech subtitles for PS4 and PS5, you can order it in Xzone.
