Horen Stalbe Dobele was brutally beaten: “Cowards attacked from behind”

“I have a broken leg and nose, a bruised forehead, a major concussion and dislocated neck vertebrae,” the musician lists the injuries.

He spent the entire last week in the Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital, but will be forced to move with crutches for the next month.

Speaking about what happened, Horen revealed that everything happened in Dobele, where he had gone with his colleague Kristaps Struberg.

“On the evening of April 12, we performed at the Eastern bar in Dobele with reggae, hip-hop and dance. The reception was great, people were happy. Everyone danced until five in the morning. After the event, Kristaps and I went to the local gas station to get hot sandwiches. We already ordered and waited, then at the gas station not very hospitable guys appeared. If I’m not mistaken, there were three of them. They spoke in Latvian.

They called the girl who made the buns very rude epithets. Mau*a was the gentlest. We asked you to behave politely.

Kristaps was waiting at the counter, but I was looking in the sales hall for what else to buy. And then these scoundrels and cowards attacked from behind. I had picked up the packets of potato straws, I was already turning when I received a very strong blow on the head. After that I found myself on the floor, Kristaps was leaning over me. I had apparently lost consciousness for a moment. I understood immediately that my nose was broken because I was lying in a sea of ​​blood,” Horen remembers the experience.

“I have canceled several concerts, DJ sets and will not be seen at one of the OratoriO shows. I have a large family to take care of and a mother who is 84 years old…” states Horen. A criminal case has been opened for the incident.

Horen knew to say that the scoundrels faced three to seven years in prison.
