Horcajo de Santiago notifies an outbreak of Covid-19 in a family environment | Radio Tarancón

The City Council of Horcajo de Santiago has notified a covid-19 outbreak.

As reported by the mayor of the town, María Roldán, through a mayoral party published on social networks, they are three people who have tested positive for coronavirus. They are all part of the same family environment and they are in quarantine in good health.

Thus, the first mayor has notified that this outbreak is perfectly controlled and the tracking tasks prescribed by the health authorities have already been carried out.

The government team has stressed that on numerous occasions they have requested the health authority to carry out PCR tests at the Horcajeño Health Center in the event of any suspicion of Covid-19 so as not to have to wait several days until these tests are carried out. They insist that they only ask for the same treatment as in other medical centers where these PCR tests are being carried out.

Likewise, from the consistory they have made an appeal to the neighbors of Horcajo de Santiago, appealing to the everyone’s responsibility to comply with the sanitary recommendations, especially the use of masks, hygiene and hand washing, interpersonal distance of one and a half meters and limitation of family meetings and groups of friends with a maximum of 10 people.
