In events that generated all kinds of reactions on social networks, Horacio José Serpa, son of the late Horacio Serpa and also former councilor of Bogotá, revealed a situation that he experienced in a restaurant north of Bogotá.
And the native of Barrancabermeja (Santander) explained that, After ordering a hamburger in a commercial establishment inside the Andino shopping center, one of the most recognized in the Colombian capital, his food had a screw with it.

In fact, Serpa explained that, at that time, he was eating with his son, which is why he or his first-born child could have suffered serious health consequences if he ingested the screw.
“¡GRAVÍSIMO! I had a screw come out in a Philadelphia Steak I ordered in @ElCorral_ from the Andino shopping center and I was about to pass it by. “My son who ate with me could have drowned,” the man from Santander began in his publication.

Serpa questioned that a situation like the one he experienced was recorded in a restaurant like the one where the events were reported. In fact, the former councilor emphasized that what happened represents a failure in quality control.
“How is it possible that something like this happens? ¡This is a serious failure in quality control that puts consumers’ lives at risk!”he added.
Thus, the former councilor commented that an employee of the premises where the events were recorded confirmed to the manager of the establishment that the onion cutting machine was missing a screw.
For this reason, Serpa asked the Bogotá Health Secretariat to urgently investigate what happened; “Totally unacceptable.”

The publication of the former Bogotá councilor generated all kinds of reactions on social networks.

Swallowing a screw can pose a serious health risk due to its shape and material. The main concern is the physical damage the screw can cause to the digestive tract.
