Ferry tickets remain a big expense for those who want to travel to island Greece even if summer is coming to an end.
Traffic remains high in the port of Piraeus as many licensees are now starting their vacations and as they say on the MEGA camera, the ferries remain high.
However, even at the end of August, even for a few days, they feel lucky, since the data shows that:
-1 in 2 consumers will not take a vacation in 2024
-1 in 3 will take a vacation, but a more limited one.
-6 out of 10 consumers say that their spending this year will be lower than last year
-4 out of 10 that they cut costs by more than 50%.
The cost of vacations seems exorbitant even for those who are financially comfortable.
