The branch of Hoogvliet supermarkets on Levendaal was raided around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday evening. The supermarket is closed and all customers have been sent out. The entrance has been cordoned off by the police.

Would be a failed attempt at a robbery with a firearm threatened. Nothing would have been taken.

The perpetrator is said to be a young man about 1.70 meters tall and of a sturdy build. He wore a Zwarm jacket from the Stone Island brand, dark sweatpants and a balaclava. He ran off via the Barbarasteeg in the direction of the Hogewoerd.

Officers in bulletproof vests immediately started a search in the center after the robbery. As far as is known, there is still no trace of the perpetrator.
