Honor has sent out invitations to the IFA fair
The Chinese brand will bring at least one flexible smartphone to Berlin
Most likely, we will see the global premiere of the Honor Magic V2
Between September 1st and 5th, the next edition of the IFA trade fair will take place, where novelties in the field of consumer electronics will be revealed. Among the participants will be the Honor company, which clearly states in its invitation what the main topic of its presentation will be.
Honor will bring two jigsaw puzzles to Berlin
Honor’s invitation features two silhouettes of an as-yet-unknown device(s) with the letter V in between, which Honor uses for its range of flexible phones. The motto of the event “Unfold Tomorrow” also confirms that we will see a new puzzle (or puzzles) in Berlin.

It is highly likely that Honor will bring the Honor Magic V2 smartphone, which debuted in China last month, to IFA. This phone has a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, but Honor has managed to cram all the components into a body that weighs 231 grams and is less than 1 cm thick – when open, each of the wings is only 4.7 mm thick.
At the same time, the phone does not make any big compromises, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which has up to 16 GB of RAM. There is also a strong set of cameras with a resolution of 50, 50 and 20 megapixels (main, wide-angle, 2.5x telephoto lens) or a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Everything happens on two OLED screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz – the outer one has a diagonal of 6.43″, the inner one is 7.92″. As with Samsung, the internal display can be controlled with a stylus.
Honor Magic V2
At the moment, it is not clear if the two silhouettes on the invitation also mean two phones, or if it is the internal and external display of the mentioned Magic V2 model. It was previously rumored that Honor is also preparing a second flexible smartphone, probably clamshell construction. We will find out whether the Berlin trade fair will be used for its unveiling on September 1 – Honor’s press conference starts at 10:00 a.m. our time.
