(wl) At the annual honor for long-time active singers by the Science City of Darmstadt in conjunction with the Darmstadt-City Singers’ Circle in the Justus-Liebig-Haus Darmstadt, this time a singer and two singers from the singing club “Eintracht 1870” eV DA-Arheilgen were present the honoree. Georg Beringer was honored for 65 years of membership, Wolfgang Loring for 40 years and Gudrun Layer for 25 years by the chairwoman of the singers’ circle and city councilor Rita Beller, representing the mayor Hanno Benz. Unfortunately, these honors had to be canceled in the past. The honorees and guests were all the more pleased that the Fleischerchor Darmstadt 1903 with its conductor Hans Kaspar Scharf gracefully accompanied the honors with four song contributions.
