KNVB cup winner Feyenoord will be honored on Monday at the Binnenrotte in the center of Rotterdam. The club won 1-0 against NEC from Nijmegen in De Kuip on Sunday evening.

The ceremony grounds open at 9:00 am. The public can enter via an entrance on the north side of the Binnenrotte, near the Meent. The ceremony starts at 12 noon on the stage at Blaak station.

Blaak metro station is closed between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Metros, trams and buses do not stop there. Feyenoord fans should go to the Rotterdam Central, Stadhuis or Beurs stops and walk from there, reports transporter RET. Additional metros are being deployed.

Car traffic

Car traffic around the ceremony site is also limited. The entire Binnenrotte and the side streets are not accessible during the ceremony.

Fireworks, knives and flagpoles are not allowed on Binnenrotte Monday, but flags are. “Together we will make it a safe and unforgettable day,” said the municipality of Rotterdam.

On Sunday evening, supporters already dived into the Hofpleinfontein to celebrate Feyenoord’s cup win, a reporter from the ANP saw. Fireworks are also set off.
