Honored Artist of Russia Grigory Belenky Passes Away, Creator of “The Man from the Boulevard des Capuchins”

Honored Artist of Russia Grigory Belenky has died. The death of the man whom the film world knows as the creator of “The Man from the Boulevard des Capuchins” confirmed in the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.

The cause of the artist’s death has not yet been announced.

Belenky was born in Moscow, graduated from VGIK and connected his entire life with Mosfilm. It was he who directed the films “Be My Husband”, “Monday’s Children”, “I Want to Go to Prison”, “Love and Sax” and, of course, “The Man from the Boulevard des Capuchins”.
