Anna of the North is from Gjøvik. She has made a name for herself internationally as a singer for rapper Tyler, The Creator.

She debuted with the song “Sway” in 2014. In 2017, Anna Lotterud released her debut album “Lovers” with the New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith, two years later she released the album “Dream Girl” and last year she released the EP “Believe.”

She has over 400 million streams on her own songs.

This year’s season of TV2’s “Every time we meet” was recorded on Kjerringøy last summer.

Those who gathered to honor and interpret Anna of the North’s songs were: Arif, Myra, Maj Britt Andersen, Øystein Greni, Stig Brenner and Bernhoft. The latter performed two songs.

Neither Andreas «TIX» Haukeland nor Øystein Greni took part in the tribute to Anna of the North. Tix also did not sing during last week’s tribute to Arif.
