Honor has just announced the launch of its latest tablet, the Honor Pad X9. The launch is part of a series of significant moves by the company, which also includes the global debut of the Honor 90 lineup and the anticipation of a new foldable device.
A step forward in the tablet line
The Honor Pad X9 is presented as a significant evolution of its predecessor, the Pad X8. The new tablet stands out for its large screen, a long battery life and an audio system consisting of six speakers.
The design of the Honor Pad X9 maintains the line of the Pad X8 Pro, recently launched in China. However, it is distinguished by the 11.5-inch FullView screen, which offers a sharp resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels and support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Despite its beefy features, the tablet maintains a sleek profile at just 6.9mm thick and weighs around 495 grams.
Performance and features
The Honor Pad X9 is not only attractive on the outside, but also impressive on the inside. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 platform, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The tablet also excels in the audio department, with six speakers providing a 360-degree sound experience. To ensure the device keeps running, Honor has equipped the Honor Pad X9 with a 7,250mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging.
The tablet comes with Android 13 pre-installed, running under the MagicOS 7.1 interface, which brings a number of exclusive features, such as HONOR Connect.
Availability and price
The Honor Pad X9 was launched in the UK market in Space Gray, priced at £179.99.
Customers who choose to purchase the tablet through HiHonor will receive a pair of Honor Earbuds X5 headphones as an added bonus. Honor has yet to release details about the availability of the Honor Pad X9 in other markets.
