Honor of Kings Attracts Hundreds of Million Players Daily

Jakarta, Selular.ID – One of the mobile games from Tencent, Honor of Kings (the global version of Arena of Valor) is very popular in China. And recently Tencent said that this game has managed to reach 100 million daily active users.

This announcement was made to celebrate Honor of Kings’ fifth anniversary. Reported by Reuters, apart from being able to reap daily players, a game that was first released in China in 2015, Honor of Kings also has as many monthly players, which is around 200 million players each month.

With this achievement, developers will also expand their business. It said the developer will expand the ways players can interact with the world of Honor of Kings, and create multi-dimensional brand experiences that encourage engagement inside and outside the game.

The experiences in question include anime, film, music, and live action series. Not only that, but this week, they also announced that they are introducing new plans regarding a new contract in the game that allows children and parents to discuss policies while playing games.

Because previously, this game has also come under fire in its own country for being addictive to playing games and Tencent has previously implemented restrictions to keep children from playing games for less than 12 hours a day.
