A Honor should soon update its line of folding devices with the Magic Vs model, whose name has been confirmed with an official teaser released by the company. The content also shows the construction details of the product, reinforcing the ultra-thin design as one of its main highlights.
The smartphone can be seen from its upper end and appears to be slimmer than its direct predecessor. In this sense, Magic Vs will be able to compete with Xiaomi Mix Fold 2which is the thinnest model with a flexible display to date.
In addition, the mobile phone must have a gold painted construction, a tone that can be repeated on the back cover. The teaser also reveals the presence of two speaker grilles, as well as two microphones.
Honor Magic Vs: or what to expect
Honor has not yet confirmed the technical information on the Magic Vs, but previous rumors point out that the smartphone will arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 as the main performance component – the same platform present in the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Fold 2.
If the company will follow the configurations seen in the previous model, the device will come exclusively with 12 GB of RAM. However, the storage options can be 256GB or 512GB.
Even with its slim build, the Magic Vs will be able to hold a 5,000mAh battery, which is more capacity than other flexible display devices. Its fast charging support should be around 66W when charging the USB-C cable.
It is not yet possible to say whether the Magic Vs will carry a set of cameras equal to its predecessor, with three 50MP sensors on the back. For selfies, the Magic V already known carries a 42 MP component.
Furthermore, the previous model was still presented with a 7.9-inch OLED internal foldable screen, while the rigid outer panel is 6.45-inch.
The company has already scheduled an official event for November 23, when it should introduce some new devices: in addition to the Magic Vs, the Honor 80 line of devices with hard screen is also planned.
