Board of Commissioners of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) will receive Rp. 1.6 billion every month. The fund is an honorarium that has been determined in the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS).
Astra International’s Head of Corporate Communications, Boy Kelana Soebroto, said that the Astra Board of Commissioners was given the authority to determine the salaries and benefits of members of the Board of Directors, taking into account the policies of the company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
“As well as stipulating for all members of the Company’s Board of Commissioners, the provision of a maximum honorarium of Rp 1.6 billion gross per month,” said Boy in his official statement quoted on Friday (23/4/2021).
Boy said the honorarium for the Board of Commissioners Astra This is paid 13 times a year and will be effective from 1 May 2021 until the close of the 2022 AGMS.
“And gave the authority to the President Commissioner to determine the distribution of the honorarium among the members of the Company’s Board of Commissioners, by taking into account the opinions of the Company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee,” he said.
In addition, Boy said, shareholders accepted the resignation of Mark Spencer Greenberg from the Board of Commissioners of the Company.
Accordingly, the composition of the members of the Company’s Board of Commissioners is changed to be as follows:
