Honor’s main mid-range sales force, the Honor digital series, is getting an update today. The newly launched Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro still feature high-resolution cameras. Both devices are equipped with a 200MP rear wide-angle main camera, and the ultra-wide-angle end is 12MP. The difference is that the Pro also uses a 32MP 2.5X close-up portrait, while the Honor 90 only has a 2MP depth-of-field module. In terms of shape, although both inherit the “binocular” camera design that has been used by Honor for several generations, the details have changed slightly. The two circles behind the Honor 80 and 80 Pro have been slightly “trimmed” this time. In addition, the silver version of the back cover also uses two different textures.
The weight and thickness of the Honor 90 are 183g and 7.8mm, respectively, while the Pro weighs 192g and is 8.1mm thick. Both phones have a built-in 5,000mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging (the Pro comes with a 100W charger). Honor has equipped these two products with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors respectively. The size of Honor 90 is 6.7 inches, and the size of Pro will be 6.78 inches. The curved AMOLEDs they use have reached the FHD+ level, both have a refresh rate of 120Hz, and support 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Finally, in the configuration of the selfie camera, the Honor 90 only has a 50MP module, and the 90 Pro will have an additional 2MP depth-of-field camera as an auxiliary on this basis.
Honor 90 will offer 12+256, 16+256 and 16+512 models, priced from RMB 2,499. Honor 90 Pro also has these specifications, and the price will fall between 3,299 and 3,899 yuan. The new product will be pre-sold in mainland China from now on, and will also land in the international market later (the international version system is determined to pre-load the GMS service).
