More than 100 citizens from different backgrounds participated in this consultation session.
Li Jiachao said that in last year’s policy report, the society generally agreed with the government’s policy policy. He hoped that this year he could listen to more public opinions, consolidate the goals and tasks of different policies, deepen and broaden policies, and set priorities.
He said that Hong Kong is a place where dreams can come true because Hong Kong has good opportunities and development momentum. The SAR government is constantly attracting investment and talents, and at the same time introducing measures to cultivate local talents.
In terms of the tourism market, Li Jiachao introduced that Hong Kong has launched many short-term policies, because Hong Kong is the capital of gourmet food, with advantages such as convenience, freedom and tolerance. Corresponding policies will be introduced in the policy address.
The 2023 Policy Address will be released on October 25 this year. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will hold more than 30 consultation meetings to extensively listen to the opinions and suggestions of Legislative Council members, representatives of different sectors and citizens on the Policy Address.
