It is almost nine years since the first episode of the reality show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” was broadcast on TV. June «Mama June» Shannon (41) og Alana «Honey Boo Boo» Thompson (15) is among those who appeared in the TV series – and to this day they still make headlines.
In recent years, everything from weight loss and family intrigue to allegations of abuse and arrest for drug possession been covered in the media.
Reveals shocking drug abuse
I 2019 moved the then 13-year-old Alana out of her mother’s home, when she had had enough of both her mother and her boyfriend Geno Doak. It was the mentioned arrest that was the icing on the cake then.
Now, almost two years later, “Honey Boo Boo” has turned 15 – and once again she is getting attention. However, it is not family intrigue that takes care of it this time.

“You are very pretty”
There are new pictures of Alana that now make people close their eyes. The photos come from the 15-year-old’s own Instagram profile, where she occasionally shares photos and videos with her 867,000 followers.
The pictures in question were shared in January, and the reactions have not been long in coming. In the pictures, the young reality star is almost unrecognizable – with false lashes and long nails.
In the comments field, it overflows with comments, where there is talk cross-section about the lashes and nails. At the same time as several people praise Alana for being herself, others believe that she could have been just as pretty naturally.

“Omg, you are growing into a beautiful woman,” one commented.
“You are very pretty, even if the lashes are a little long,” wrote another.
Others point out that the young TV star is really starting to get big.
“You grow up so fast!” writes one, followed by a crying face emoji.

As mentioned, the last few years have been marked by a lot of adversity for the reality family. After Alana moved out of her mother’s home in the spring of 2019, she ended up at home big sister Lauryn Shannon (21).
By all accounts Alana still lives with her sister. The year she moved away from home, however, was not easy, something the 15-year-old herself has stated.
That same autumn, she went out on her own Instagram account and talked about the hard times. She then expressed gratitude to all who have supported her.

– Can we be honest for a second? Let me tell you how proud I am of myself! I have honestly gone through hell and back this year, and I still stand, Alana wrote at the time.
The family chaos, on the other hand, has not been kept behind four walls. The whole thing has been filmed and documented in the family’s new reality series “Mama June: From Not to Hot”, which was later renamed “Mama June: Family Crisis”.
Alana and her sister Lauryn in particular have had a lot of screen time there. The series shows, among other things, the daughters being frustrated by the mother’s absence, as June had no contact with them for a long time.
At one point, June is said to have traveled from hotel to hotel with her boyfriend, and the family’s concern has at times been so great that they drove around to check which hotel the mother was at, according to TMZ.
