Honduran press describes Mexico’s victory as “theft”

MEXICO CITY, November 22 (EL UNIVERSAL).- The Honduran press did not hide its indignation after the agonizing defeat of the Honduran National Team against Mexico in the Quarterfinals of the Nations League.

Arbitration controversies, the homophobic cry, added time, there are many points that Catracho journalism has expressed as part of its anger against the Mexican National Team and Concacaf.

The famous Honduran newspaper “diez” printed on its cover a large legend that says: Robbery at the Azteca. In reference to Mexico’s long-suffering triumph.

On the other hand, a reporter who was on the Coloso de Santa Úrsula field went viral with a controversial video in which he described Concacaf as a “mafia.”

“Against the soccer mafia, against Concacaf, we will never be able to. Never. The referee has them alive, they are dead,” said the photographer in his video.
