Honduran Delegation Joins Central American Security Commission to Combat Transnational Organized Crime

With the purpose of working together in the fight against transnational organized crime, a Honduran delegation participated in the LXXXII Ordinary Meeting of the Central American Security Commission, which was held in Belize.

The national delegation was headed by Ambassador Eduardo Rosales, Ministerial Advisor to the Foreign Ministry; Ronal Deras, Director of Regional Integration; General José Jair Meza, from the Security Secretariat; Colonel Ángel David Macoto, Deputy Director of Strategic Information; Lidia Solórzano, Public Security; and Colonel Edilberto Moncada, from the Defense Secretariat.

At the meeting, the Security Commission recognized the results obtained in the execution of the first bi-regional operation against trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants, between the States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and the member countries of the System of Integration Center
