“Honda unveils plans for new electric car platform with 2025 release date”

The company has already confirmed this, as well as the fact that the car will arrive on the all-new e:Architecture platform.

The announcement came as part of a big presentation by the automaker’s president and executive vice president, which focused on technology and electrification. However, there was no mention of the new platform, so we will have to wait for the mentioned year of 2025.

As early as 2024, however, Honda will introduce the Prologue and Acura ZDX EV models, both on the Ultium platform from General Motors. The two automakers will cooperate until 2027. Honda will turn Ohio, USA, into the center of its electric car production in North America.

A number of new electric cars will also arrive in Japan and China. It was there, specifically at the Shanghai Auto Show, that Honda unveiled the e:N SUV concept, which the cover photos show, among other things. The latter is supposed to receive a serial version in 2024, but it will probably remain only for the Chinese market.
