The Japanese automobile company Honda will offer the crossover ZR-V in the European market, which will be positioned between the CR-V and HR-V in the model range.
If a Honda enthusiast finds the CR-V too big and expensive, but the HR-V too small and unwieldy, then the ZR-V will be the right choice. Honda plans to introduce such a model to the European market in the fall of 2023, promising it driving characteristics and agility that would be at the level of “sporty hatchbacks”.
Visually, the ZR-V even looks a little like the Maserati Grecale, which is not bad at all, but it only seems so at first glance – the Honda ZR-V has its own unique design and there is no need to borrow ideas from others.
The advantages of the ZR-V include the already mentioned driving characteristics, high-quality interior finishing materials and a spacious passenger compartment with an equally spacious trunk, which can be increased up to 1291 liters.
Under the hood is a hybrid unit that combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, two electric motors, and an automatic transmission. Just such a device is also built into the Honda Civic, where it provides 135 kW/184 hp.
