A 1995 Acura NSX with record mileage has been discovered in the US. The legendary Honda supercar has covered almost 650,000 km in 28 years. Its owner, blogger Archie Santos, talks about it on YouTube.
The American was able to buy an Acura NSX for only $29,000. At the time of purchase, the car’s mileage was 645,348 km. This is a significant achievement, as most supercars don’t even cover 100,000 kilometers.
This Acura NSX is the exception to the rule, driven very intensively and used as an everyday car. The car’s previous owner is a retired architect who drove it 523,000 km over 13 years.

The Honda supercar is in good condition. The car has the original paint, although the rear has signs of recent accidents: a motorcyclist has hit the front of the car and a camper has hit the rear. The interior has recently been reupholstered with more expensive leather, so it looks like new.
The owner has regularly serviced the Acura NSX – changing the oil, filters, shocks, clutch and other consumables on schedule, as well as adjusting the valve clearances.
In addition, an unscheduled replacement of the water pump and cylinder block gasket was required. The Honda V6 still had to be sent for an overhaul, but only after 630,000 km. Now the rebuilt engine runs great. The undercarriage of the supercar is also in good condition.
As a reminder, the Honda NSX (sold in the US as Acura) is the Japanese automaker’s only supercar. It was introduced in 1989 and became a cheaper alternative to Ferrari and Porsche. The famous racer Ayrton Senna participated in the creation of the model.

The 1995 model was equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 270 hp. and a 5-speed manual gearbox. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reaches 270 km/h.
Until recently, the second generation Honda NSX was produced with a hybrid unit. However, it was discontinued at the end of 2022 due to low demand. /auto.blitz.bg
