Honda Recall 85 Thousand Units in RI, Almost All Cars Are Involved

Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) announce recall on Wednesday (7/15) related components fuel pump at 85,025 units already circulating in Indonesia. This recall involves almost all models sold by HPM domestically.

Models that are problematic and must be taken by the owner to a workshop to get repairs are Brio, Mobilio, Jazz, BR-V, HR-V, CR-V, City, Civic, and Accord which were produced between 2017 and 2019.

This recall involves almost all models sold by HPM, only Odyssey is not included.


The official Honda repair shop will replace the components fuel pump starting July 15, this campaign is free of charge. According to HPM the workshop will handle consumers with the Covid-19 preventive health protocol.

HPM explained that it had sent notification letters to the owners involved recall. Consumers can also ensure the recall status of the car through website official Honda.

If the owner is not the first owner of the car is mandatory recall, checking can be done by contacting Honda Customer Care 0-800-1446-632 on weekdays at 08.00 – 17:30 WIB.

HPM describes the component fuel pump potentially ‘not working as it should’. As a result of the malfunction called the engine allows it can not be turned on or stopped suddenly while driving.

“Given the importance of this program, we appeal and remind consumers of vehicles whose vehicles have been identified to immediately bring their cars to the Honda authorized workshop for the process of checking and replacing parts,” said Denny MT, Service & Parts Asst. HPM General Manager.
