Honda seems to be preparing a compact SUV that is a potential competitor to Raize and Rocky in Indonesia. After launching the RS Concept SUV at GIIAS 2021, there are now allegations of a mass production version of the SUV.
The design patent for the Honda SUV, a potential competitor to Raize and Rocky, appears in the document of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The design patent is identical to the RS Concept SUV. This design patent was filed by Asian Honda Motor Co., LTD.

If you look at the trends or habits that have been carried out by Honda so far, the RS Concept SUV will almost certainly be produced as a mass car. This strategy is often carried out by Honda before launching a new car by introducing a concept version and launching a mass production version whose design is not much different. For example, the Small RS Concept which became the All New Brio or the N7X Concept which was later released as the All New BR-V.

In appearance there is no difference between this Honda SUV design patent and the concept version. The design of this car appears with a slim body, sharp and sturdy lines, and a grille that blends with the body which further strengthens the sporty character.

This car has a two-tone display between the color of the body and the roof. Strengthening the sporty character, there is also a roof rail section to a typical SUV bodykit.
Previously, the signal for the presence of a new Honda car also strengthened after the data appeared in the Motor Vehicle Sales Value (NJKB) of Samsat. The basic price is cheaper than the Honda BR-V. On the Motor Vehicle Sales Value page of the DKI Jakarta Samsat, the code “DG47” is written for the manual transmission and “DG48” for the automatic transmission. The code is also accompanied by the number 1.5 indicating that a 1500 cc engine will be embedded.

The DG code was also previously installed on the body of the new generation Honda BR-V. That is Honda’s answer to compete in the Low SUV market. It is possible that the code refers to the production version of the RS Concept SUV.
The RS SUV concept car is a small SUV. Small SUV types are currently being offered through various manufacturers, ranging from the Toyota Raize, Daihatsu Rocky, Kia Sonet, and Nissan Magnite.
In the new code, Honda cars are divided into five variants, namely 1.5 EM/T, 1.5 E CVT, 1.5 RS M/T, 1.5 RS CVT, and 1.5 RS CVT Z. On the other hand, the NJKB of this car is cheaper than the Honda BR. -V. Here’s the list:

For the record, the price information does not include the transfer of title tax, Sales Tax on Luxury Goods, and so on. However, as a comparison, the list above is still cheaper than the NJKB BR-V, which starts at Rp. 194 million.
