Last year Honda showed us the new one Falcon 11a retro sports car daughter of Africa Twin reserved for the Japanese market only. The bike is driven by the 1,084 cc twin-cylinder in-line engine, which it already equips Twin Africa, Rebel 1100 and NT1100. Now there are those who imagine that the same power unit could also be installed on a sporty roadster with a very 80s look! It is the designer Oberdan Bezzi, who thus sees his personal version of Honda Nighthawk 1100.
According to the designer the “your” Nighthawk 1100 conjures to mind “in form and philosophy the 750 cc progenitor from 1984albeit with a split to two cylinders instead of four”. It is a motorcycle from “vaguely American taste, suitable for both sportsmen and waterfront motorcyclists, easy and friendly to use, but certainly not lacking in performance, thanks to the ultra-modern engine and the traditional but well-calibrated chassis”.
According to Bezzi”the absence of sophisticated components would allow for keep the price within absolutely reasonable limits“.
