Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) launched Honda CR-V the latest. The Honda CR-V is equipped with several updates such as design changes to the embedding of Honda Sensing’s advanced features.
The exterior appearance of the Honda CR-V was redesigned to give it a modern look. At the front, the new CR-V features a newly redesigned front bumper, new chrome wing grille, chrome bumper accents and new LED Headlights.
Currently, Fog Lights are standard in all variants. For the above type SX Diesel 9AT AWD is now equipped with Front Sequential Turn Signal.
On the side, Honda CR-V carries 18-inch alloy wheels with new designs for the SX Diesel 9AT AWD, S Diesel 9AT, and 2.0S CVT variants. The rim features a solid and modern style that makes the Honda CR-V look even more premium.
Honda CR-V comes with a roof rail in all variants. At the rear, the Honda CR-V comes with an updated dark taillight and a newly designed rear bumper.
Honda CR-V variant S Diesel 9AT is equipped with Power Tailgate. WD’s SX Diesel 9AT also now features a Hands-Free Access Power Tailgate with a sensor under the rear bumper, allowing the rear door to open via a kicking motion when both hands cannot open the trunk door. Other features such as the Panoramic Sunroof and Auto Rain Sensing Wipers are also available exclusively for the SX Diesel 9AT AWD variant.
In the interior, the Honda CR-V still presents a cabin space with a capacity of 7 passengers. At the front, the New Honda CR-V SX Diesel 9AT AWD is equipped with an 8-way Power-Adjustable Driver Seat with 4-way Power Lumbar Support which allows for an adjustable seat configuration, helping to provide more comfort for the driver. In addition, a 4 way Power-adjustable Seat is also available for the front passenger.
To recharge the user’s gadget, there is a USB port located on the center console. In addition, the SX Diesel 9AT AWD type is also equipped with a Wireless Mobile Charger for added convenience. For passenger entertainment, the New Honda CR-V SX Diesel 9AT AWD, S Diesel 9AT, and 2.0 S CVT variants are equipped with a 7-inch Touchscreen Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the SX Diesel 9AT AWD and S Diesel 9AT variants pack additional navigation and control features for the automatic air-conditioning system.
For engines, Honda Philippines provides two engine options, namely a 1.6 liter DOHC i-DTEC Diesel Turbo engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission with 120PS at 4,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 300Nm at 2,000 rpm, and a 2.0 liter SOHC i-VTEC engine with a powerful CVT transmission. 154PS at 6,500rpm and 189Nm of peak torque at 4,300rpm for the 5 passenger petrol variant.
Honda Philippines dared to introduce Honda CR-V latest with Honda Sensing advanced features. This feature ensures the safety of the rider. Safety features in all variants include Front Driver and Passenger Airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Emergency Stop Signal, and Multi -View Rear Camera with Guide. The New Honda CR-V SX Diesel 9AT AWD, S Diesel 9AT and 2.0 S CVT variants come with additional safety features such as LaneWatch, side airbags and side curtain airbags. The new Honda CR-V also maintains the ASEAN NCAP (17-Protocol) 5-Star safety rating.
