Jakarta –
Honda officially launched Honda U-GO GT for consumers in China. The electric scooter gets a number of new touches compared to the regular Honda U-GO, which launched earlier.
Taken from Greatbiker, Wednesday (8/3), the Honda U-GO GT is one of three electric products projected to launch in China this year. The vehicle at first glance looks like the regular version, it’s just that the manufacturer equipped it with fat bar type handlebars and covered it with new accents.
Not only that, in terms of features and technology, the Honda U-GO GT is also more sophisticated than the regular U-GO. The electric scooter uses a large instrument panel that can be connected to a smartphone via a special application called Wi-Box.
The Honda U-GO GT is also equipped with a double disc braking system, full LED lighting and a smart keyless system.
The manufacturer has equipped the Honda U-GO GT with a swap-type battery that can be opened and installed. The battery has a capacity of 96V/30Ah which allows the vehicle to cover a distance of 150 kilometers. Meanwhile, to fill it from zero to 100 percent takes 6-7 hours.
The Honda U-GO GT uses a 5kW electric motor with a maximum speed of up to 86 km/hour. In fact, for the regular variant, these mounts can only produce a top speed of 53 km/hour.
Currently, the Honda U-GO GT has been sold in China with two color choices, namely black and red. While the price reaches 19,900 yuan or the equivalent of Rp. 44 million. This nominal is much more expensive than regular U-GO, which costs tens of millions of rupiah.
