JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Honda EX5 in Malaysia or Astra Grand if in Indonesia, has just celebrated its 35th anniversary. Coinciding with the occasion, Honda Malaysia launched the EX5 35th Anniversary Limited Edition.
Reported from Paultan (24/2/2022), this motorbike is sold for 5,198 ringgit or equivalent to Rp. 17.7 million, not including road tax, insurance and registration.
This duck comes in a special Extravagant Gold Metallic color option. Interestingly, the EX5 Limited Edition will only be produced as many as 2,000 units.

In addition to being invested with gold paint, there is also a 35 -year commemorative emblem placed on it cover front, along with “Limited Edition” graphics.
The EX5 35th Anniversary Limited Edition is different from the 2021 version of the EX5 which is priced at 4,783 ringgit or equivalent to Rp. 16.3 million.
The older version of the EX5 has Euphoria Red Metallic and Pearl Nightfall Blue paint colors, as well as a spoke rim version and casting wheel.

Meanwhile, for this year’s EX5 Limited Edition, only a spoke rim version with chrome plated passenger stirrups is available.
Speaking of engines, EX5 limited edition this still carries the legendary duck engine, which is also used on the Honda Revo Fit.
The engine has a capacity of 110 cc single cylinder air cooled, and EFI technology. This engine produces 8.5 hp at 7,500 rpm and 8.62 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

The power is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed gearbox rotary and centrifugal clutch.
As for braking, it still maintains drum brakes at the front and rear, while under the seat there is a tank with a capacity of 4.3 liters.
Riders can also still start the motorbike with kick starteror use electric starter.
