Accident traffic involving four-wheeled vehicles and motorbikes occurs in the area Pancoran, South Jakarta. It was reported that the motorcyclist, who was only 5 years old, died.
In the video circulating, you can see a motorbike driving on the shoulder of the road. From behind suddenly appeared a white Honda Jazz car rammed the motorcyclist and fell. In fact, seen in the video, the car ran over the victim as well as the motorbike.
Asked for separate confirmation, the Head of Traffic and Traffic of the South Jakarta Metro Police AKP Sigit Prabowo confirmed this. He said the incident occurred on Tuesday (14/6/2022) at around 19.30 WIB.
According to eyewitness accounts at the scene, the Honda Jazz vehicle driven by IAR (35) was traveling from east to west on Jalan Pancoran Timur, South Jakarta. Right at the scene, the car then hit a motorcycle driven by MR (28).
“Right in front of the car wash, Risky Car Wash hit a Honda Vario spm vehicle that was in front of it and was going in the same direction,” said Sigit in his statement, Wednesday (15/6/2022).
As a result, the child with the initials AAR (5) was seriously injured. Sigit said, shortly after the incident, the boy was rushed to Tria Dipa Hospital.
But his life could not be saved and died in hospital. Meanwhile, MR, the victim’s father, suffered minor injuries.
“So there was a traffic accident that resulted in serious injuries and material losses from vehicle damage. (The victim) was on a passenger on a Honda Vario motorcycle, named AAR, female, Jakarta, 5 years old,” he said.
Sigit said that until now his party is still investigating the cause of the accident.
