With the 2024 model year, Honda made a significant differentiation in the adventure bikes of the CRF1100L series. While the CRF1100L Africa Twin is aimed, as usual, at the adventure-oriented travel enduro faction, the sister model with the additional name Adventure Sports is more geared towards comfortable road use. The most striking distinguishing feature is now the front wheel, which still measures 21 inches on the enduro variant, but on the Adventure Sports it only has a diameter of 19 inches in the interests of more agile handling.
The 2025 model year is technically unchanged. The tried-and-tested 102 hp two-cylinder in-line engine provides propulsion, and power is transmitted either via a classic six-speed manual transmission or via a DCT dual-clutch transmission.
With the CRF1100L Africa Twin, buyers can choose between a conventional chassis with extensive adjustment options or electronically controlled Showa EERA suspension elements, which are available at an additional cost. The latter are part of the standard equipment on the sister model Adventure Sports.
The 2025 CRF1100L Africa Twin is available in three colors with new graphics: Grand Prix Red with revised graphics, Matt Ballistic Black Metallic with red accents and Pearl Glare White with revised tricolor graphics (ES trim level only).
The 2025 CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports is available in Matt Iridium Gray Metallic and Pearl Glare White with tricolor decor.
