Honda has released an update to the CMX1100 Rebel for 2025, which also comes with a special edition – the CMX1100SE Rebel, factory custom.
The engine is the same in both versions: a parallel twin, derived from the CRF1100 Africa Twin, with a displacement of 1,084 cubic centimeters, able to produce 65 kW (87 hp) of power and 98 Nm of torque.
The six-speed gearbox is a dual transmission (DCT), making it one of three variants of the updated CMX1100 Rebel to be available as standard. This has been updated, with its standards linked to the three riding modes (Standard, Rain and Sport, with customizable options).
The frame is made of steel, with an adjustable preload fork at the front and an adjustable preload piggyback shock at the rear. In terms of brakes, the vehicle has a dual-channel ABS system, with a floating disc and a four-piston monobloc caliper at the front, while the rear gets a single disc and a single-piston caliper.
The claimed fuel consumption is 5.3 liters per 100 km, and the fuel tank has a volume of 13.6 liters. The weight is 237 kg. The CMX1100SE Rebel is Honda’s first factory motorcycle after the RC213V-S to be equipped with a rear view mirror.
This street custom features a front fairing in the same color as the bike, gaiters on the fork and a small sports style front fender. The seat has diamond quilting and the radiator cover is anodized.
Two color options are available: Flare Orange Metallic and Mat Ballistic Black Metallic.
