Honda announced its sports car managed to break a new record at the Nurburgring Circuit, Germany. It is known that this car has just been released in Indonesia at a price of IDR 1.399 billion (OTR Jakarta).
Yes, the Honda Civic Type R managed to break the record for being the fastest front-wheel drive (FWD) car at the Nurburgring Circuit, Germany. The latest generation Honda Civic Type R (FL5) recorded a time of 7 minutes 44,881 seconds.
The time record is half a second faster than the time of 7 minutes 45.389 seconds belonging to the Renault Megane RS Trophy-R which was inscribed in 2019.
Indeed, the latest Civic Type R (FL5) score is slower than the record set by its predecessor FK8 in 2017. But the FL5 uses a newer, longer track, which is 20.8 km. Meanwhile, FK8 used a track configuration of 20.6 km with a time of 7 minutes 43.80 seconds.
In addition, the All New Honda Civic Type R has also managed to record the fastest FWD car at the Suzuka Circuit, Japan in 2022 with a record time of 2 minutes 23.120 seconds.

In Indonesia, the All New Honda Civic Type R is available in 5 color options, namely Championship White, Rallye Red, Crystal Black Pearl, Sonic Gray Pearl and the newest color Racing Blue Pearl. This car is offered at a price of IDR 1,399,000,000, – (the price listed is the on the road price for the Jakarta area for first person ownership in 2023).
