Bangkok, Otojatim.com – Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. launched the Honda City Hatchback e:HEV for the first time in the world as a full hybrid model in the city car segment to strengthen Honda’s hybrid lineup in the “City Series”.
Launched on June 24, 2021 in Bangkok Thailand, this car is equipped with Sport Hybrid i-MMD, Honda SENSING advanced safety technology and ULTR Seats configuration.
This car is ready to move with the advanced drive technology “Sport Hybrid Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD)” which is powered by two electric motors – a generator motor and a propulsion motor, 1.5L Atkinson Cycle DOHC i-VTEC 4 cylinder engine, 16 -Electrical Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) valve.
Using a lithium-ion battery that can provide a fun and powerful driving performance. This full hybrid system also produces a maximum torque of 253 nm up to 3,000 rpm. Efficiency level City Hatchback Hybrid fuel consumption reach 27 kilometers/liter, and the emission level is only 86 grams/kilometer.
Honda SENSING technology has also been embedded in this car, which includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Auto High Beam (AHB).
In addition to safety technology and quality performance, this car also has a modern and sporty design from the exterior to the interior. On the exterior, there is a Gloss Black front grille combined with a sporty bumper and 16-inch alloy wheels.
LED lights have also been pinned on Headlights, Daytime Running Lights, taillights to fog lamps. This car also has the hallmarks of a hybrid vehicle including the H chrome logo with a blue frame and the e:HEV badge on the back.
The cabin interior also has an ULTR Seats 4 mode configuration system; Utility Mode, Long Mode, Tall Mode, and Refresh Mode.
