PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) announced the delay in the distribution of Honda motorcycles. This is due to the shortage of semiconductor chip supplies that hit the world.
In a written statement received by detikcom, consumers who have ordered Honda motorbikes are expected to be patient waiting for the arrival of their ordered motorbikes. AHM apologizes for making consumers wait longer.
“We apologize for making you wait longer. Currently we are trying to solve this problem in order to fulfill the wishes of loyal Honda motorcycle consumers as well as possible. This is our commitment, as we have done so far to always provide the best products and services. for our consumers in Indonesia according to the spirit of One Heart,” wrote AHM in a statement, as quoted by detikcom, Tuesday (31/5/2022).
detikcom confirmed the news to General Manager of Corporate Communications AHM Ahmad Muhibbuddin. Muhib confirmed that there was a delay in the distribution of Honda motorcycles.
AHM explained, semiconductor is one of the important components for a number of industries, including automotive. Without semiconductor chips, motorcycles cannot be produced perfectly.
